Travertine marble tiles are a very dense form of Calcium Carbonate and although a Limestone, Travertine is more usually considered as a Marble. Harder than Limestone, Travertine tiles are hardwearing and practical yet provide a timeless elegance that has to be seen to be appreciated.

Colours vary from pale to dark cream with attractive surface varigation.

Due to its formation voids occur in the surface of the stone. These can vary from pinholes to quite large irregular holes. Many prefer these holes to be filled during installation when the tiles are grouted however some tiles can be supplied pre-filled by the factory with a colour matched resin.

Tumbled Marble, as it’s name implies, are tiles that are literally tumbled together in large drums. The action of the tiles rubbing together add a softness and character to the surface with a contoured edge as well as enhancing the highlights and depth of colour.
