Marble tiles have been used for floors and walls for generations offering a subtle beauty that’s impossible to match. The popular impression is of a highly polished formal floor, but Marble is available in a selection of alternative finishes offering a highly durable and attractive flooring surface for almost any application.

Polished - As the name indicates, the marble is given a highly polished surface. Great care is needed to keep the surface clean, as over time, minute scratches will be visible in the surface diminishing it’s appearance.

Honed - This is the stage prior to a polished surface and has a matte appearance. Often used for flooring as it is considered easier to maintain and a polished surface surface can be obtained by the use of easily applied liquid polishes.

Brushed - The surface is literally brushed with wire brushes of varying grades giving a more textured surface with a satin appearance.

Water Worn/Acid Etching - A quite remarkable finish with an almost silky feel and slightly contoured edges.
